ABOUT DR. CLINT STANKIEWICZ, PSY.D

Clint C. Stainkiewicz is a licensed psychologist in both New Jersey & Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is Board Certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Clinical Psychology and Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology.

Clint possess over ten years of clinical experience. In addition to his private practice, Clint is presently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Department of Psychiatry. He received his bachelors degree from Moravian College, where he was a member of of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, & graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Clint began his graduate work at Lehigh University, where he earned a Masters Degree & went on to earn a second Masters Degree. Clint also earned a Doctorate in clinical psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he specialized in clinical psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy, & behavioral medicine.

Clint completed his predoctoral internship at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, accredited by the American Psychological Association. The internship also included an externship component at Children’s Specialized Hospital.

Clint has a rich array of clinical experiences that include; work with children, adolescents, & adults of different cultures, ethnicities & races across a number of settings, which include outpatient community mental health, children’s hospital, school based behavioral health, primary care, residential & inpatient psychiatric settings. Clint has been active in conducting research on a myriad of issues including, cognitive remediation, cognitive behavioral therapy, chronic illness, somatoform disorders, treatment adherence, trauma & multicultural issues among others, which have even been published.

Clint has also served in acedema as a Clinical Assistant Professor and adjunct faculty member, been active in organizational program development & presented at national conferences including; the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies Annual Convention among others.
